Uncle Nick, Malena and I (jess) went to Palm Springs, CA to visit our Aunt Lee and Uncle Joe. They knew that Nick was coming for a visit but didn't know that Malena and I were going to be there. Nick and I came up with a plan of how to surprise them, it was great!

Nick and I had talked about doing all sorts of things while on our vacation such as hiking, going on the tram,possibly visiting Mexico. Yeah, none of that happened. The longest we got Nick out of the pool was to eat and sleep!

Malena took her first steps Sunday, March 2nd.

Juan and I were playing with her when she decided to show us what she could do! Juan had just gotten home from a week long trip out of town, so it was really a nice surprise for him. Today is Monday, March 3rd and she has already taken a few steps this morning, just to prove it wasn't a fluke last night. Pretty soon she'll be running around like she owns the place!
